Dance Tech 1-4 + Hip Hop 1-2
Dance 4

    This class consists of advance dance techniques. Students will continue to work on the fundamentals of ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap and modern dances, while continuing to create choreography.  The overall emphasis is artistry and choreography. Students will continue to explore dance history to develop choreography through various assignments.

Dance 3

    This class involves the students in dancing, dance making, and dance appreciation.  The overall emphasis is the fundamentals of choreography. This class consists of intermediate and advance dance techniques. Terminology and vocabulary unique to various dance genres are used regularly.  Students are expected to know the vocabulary as well as learn new vocabulary. 

Dance 2

    This class involves the students in dancing, dance making, and dance appreciation.  This class teaches students fundamental dance technique and characteristics of jazz, ballet, modern dance, tap, improvisation, hip-hop and cultural dance. You will continue your learning of the terminology and fundamentals of ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and modern dances. Students are expected to know the vocabulary as well as learn new vocabulary.

Dance 1 

    The beginning level dance class involves the students in dancing, dance making, and dance appreciation to teach students fundamental dance technique and characteristics of jazz, ballet, modern dance, improvisation, hip-hop and cultural dance.  Terminology and vocabulary unique to various dance genres at the beginning levels are introduced.

Hip Hop 2

    This class involves the students in dancing, dance making, and dance appreciation to hip hop.  The overall emphasis is the fundamentals of choreography. This class consists of intermediate  and advanced dance techniques. Terminology and vocabulary unique to hip hop are used at intermediate levels. Students are expected to know the vocabulary as well as learn new vocabulary. 

Hip Hop 1

    This class involves the students in dancing, dance making, and dance appreciation to hip hop.  The overall emphasis is the fundamentals of choreography. This class consists of beginning and intermediate dance techniques. Terminology and vocabulary unique to hip hop are used at beginning levels. Students are expected to know the vocabulary as well as learn new vocabulary.
